1-3 month contract position (covering leave)
Roma Fence Ltd. is currently looking for a junior-to-intermediate full-time MIG welder to assist in our residential department. The ideal candidate will be versatile and a team player who welds and fabricates metals for fence manufacturing.
Job duties and responsibilities:
· Perform custom MIG welding
· Prepare jigs for welding,
· Interpret welding process specifications
Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of welding experience an asset
· Diploma or certificate in welding an asset
· Must be able to weld galvanized materials
· Must be able to read work drawings
· Forklift certification
· Quality work is an absolute must
· Good mechanical aptitude
· Must be able to work independently with a minimum supervision
· Ability to operate previously set-up welding machines, drive forklifts, and use industrial saws
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
