Overview

Pro Staff has a direct hire opportunity for a Welder located in Coon Rapids, MN! This is a very tight-knitted company and they are looking for someone who is willing to stay long-term and grow with them whilst taking on responsibilities. There are many benefits from 10 days of paid holidays, 401K, 401K match, and paid vacation!

Schedule: 5:30AM-4PM M-TH, Fridays have overtime opportunity (no weekends!)

Duties and responsibilities

  • Review and interpret drawings, layouts, diagrams, or work orders in preparation for welding, cutting and fabricating metal components
  • Maintain care of hand tools and welding equipment
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements

  • 3 years welding/ fabrication experience
  • Capable and willing to become certified in GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW
  • 2 year degree preferred
  • Successful completion of internal weld test
  • Advanced math and mechanical aptitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a variety of physical conditions
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds
  • Ability to work independently
