Overview
Schedule: 5:30AM-4PM M-TH, Fridays have overtime opportunity (no weekends!)
Duties and responsibilities
- Review and interpret drawings, layouts, diagrams, or work orders in preparation for welding, cutting and fabricating metal components
- Maintain care of hand tools and welding equipment
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements
- 3 years welding/ fabrication experience
- Capable and willing to become certified in GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW
- 2 year degree preferred
- Successful completion of internal weld test
- Advanced math and mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a variety of physical conditions
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Ability to work independently
