Start your welding career with this job in St. Cloud! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a locally-owned company in St. Cloud, MN. We’re seeking candidates for Welder roles on 2nd shift. Hours for this job are 3:45pm-12:15am. 2nd shift will train on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks then move to 2nd shift. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities is $19.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
What a Welder will do:
- Weld and fabricate steel components using fixturing, work instructions, and blueprints
- Work with and communicate needs to the Head of Fabrication and Welding
- Establish and maintain a clean, safe, and productive atmosphere living 5S principles
- Some limited computer use
- Follow all safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company rules and regulations
What you need to be a Welder:
- Must have leadership skills and be a team player
- Must be able to use power, pneumatic, and hand tools
- Must be quality conscious
- Must be okay working inside and outside
- Previous welding experience
