Our client, a stairs and railing company is currently looking to hire a Welder with experience in railings.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
- Soldering machine
- Gas welding machine
Welding Techniques * Flux core arc welding (FCAW)
- Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)
- Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
- Gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
Work Setting * Industrial
Specific Skills * Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
- Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities * Repetitive tasks
- Handling heavy loads
- Physically demanding
- Attention to detail
- Hand-eye co-ordination
- Standing for extended periods
- Overtime required
