ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – 2nd Shift – 2pm – 10 pm

  • Fabricates/Welds and/or assembles signs, frames, structures, cabinets related to building of signs.
  • Operates tools necessary to complete projects to include, but not limited to pneumatic or electric saws, drills, and presses.
  • Completes all necessary reports such as, but not limited to, completion slips, material listing forms, timecards, documents and file records such as work orders, requisition forms, accident report forms, and personal expenditure receipts.
  • Assists in the handling, packing, loading, securing and unloading of signs and materials to ensure proper procedures are observed.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in work hours to include availability for overtime hours as required by management.
  • Attends all necessary meetings and training as required by management.
  • Provides care and security for all company resources.
  • Makes periodic deliveries of signs and other materials to various locations.
  • Performs necessary housekeeping activities, this includes, but is not limited to, the picking up of all debris that results from production activities, this includes proper storage of all materials and equipment when they are not in use as well as all other materials which may be offensive or hazardous.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years of fabrication experience in the sign industry preferred. (not required)
  • Familiar with fabricating on materials such as aluminum, steel, and sheet metal.
  • Proficiently weld steel and aluminum in various positions.
  • Steel Mig, Alumimun Mig welding required.
  • Must be able to read and inturpret blue prints and/or construction drawings.
  • High attetion to detail.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal format.
  • Outside of the box thinking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour
