Production MIG Welder/Fabricator

Great opportunity to weld and fabricate in a respectable environment manufacturing a highly engineered assortment of utility, fender, gooseneck, and heavy equipment trailers.

  • Looking for team-oriented individuals who can fabricate and weld efficiently at a high skill level in a production setting.
  • Must be proficient with a tape measure, a speed square, grinder, and various other hand tools.
  • Must be proficient MIG welding, using a plasma cutter at various amps, and volts and positions.
  • Knowledge of geometry and angles and their application to fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Weld using Metal Inert Gas Process to join similar pieces of metal together in uphill, downhill, horizontal, and flat positions.
  • Be able to work in safe manner wearing all required PPE practicing safe use of all power tools and equipment.
  • Work in a team setting with a bay leader under supervision from plant manager to meet required goals.
  • Be able to lift heavy material repeatedly through out the work day.
  • Adhere to the attendance policy.
  • Pass a drug screen and submit to random drug screens.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
  • Follow all company rules and policies.
  • Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
  • Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Be able to follow directions in both verbal and written form.
  • Be on time everyday and have reliable transportation to work everyday.
  • 90 day probationary period with dated performance evaluations.
  • Foul language, perverse talk, and insubordination will not be tolerated.

Job Type: Full-time

Base pay for experienced MiG Welders Starting at $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift, 7 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Welding/Fabrication: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver’s License (Preferred)
