Overview
Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year experience – AWS Certified
Must have clean FL Driver’s License
Must be able to pass welding test for Mig and Stick
Job Description for Welder / Fabricator:
The Welder / Fabricator must be able to use basic manufacturing shop tools and equipment. Have the ability to fabricate pieces, parts and materials using a variety of machines, tools, and equipment. A knowledge of basic plan layout and measurements is a plus. Accurately measure, fabricate, and tack weld materials for different construction applications. Complete tasks in a timely manner.
Skill Requirements for Welder / Fabricator:
Able to follow directions given to accomplish tasks assigned.
Able to operate power tools, welders, and machinery and have the ability to read a tape measure.
Able to communicate effectively by speaking and comprehending English.
Able to work 40- 60hours per week.
Position requires standing most of the time in shop.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 to $25.00 per hour -pay is based on experience and proficiency as well as welding certificate.
Shop fabrication location is West Palm Beach, FL – Field work locations vary.
