Steel House MFG is a large family owned and operated fabrication shop. We handle high end custom fabrication in the Austin, TX area working with both commercial and residential clients.

We’re currently looking for a well-versed fabricator/welder with a passion for their craft. Someone who takes pride in everything they do with an eye for design and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications:

· Minimum 3-5 years work experience with structural steel fabrication and/or custom architectural fabrication. Will not substitute education for real world experience.

· Working knowledge of flame cutting, plasma cutting, MIG and SMAW

· High attention to detail.

· Must be able to self-manage

· Must have reliable transportation and/or the ability to get to work on time

· Must be able to read and build from prints / shop drawings.

· Must have a clean driving record

· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Ideal candidates will also have:

· Welding certification

· Familiar with TIG welding, brazing, metal finishing

· Ability to manage others

· Some level of Higher Education

*All serious applicants will be required to perform a hands-on welding and fabrication test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
