Welder/Fabricator/Mechanic

Minneapolis based Railroad Manufacturer and Supplier has an IMMEDIATE opening for a Full Time Welder/Fabricator/Mechanic. Competitive wages based on ability and experience. Health Insurance, Uniforms, 401K and a great work environment. Willing to teach the right candidate.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Automotive Basic – preventative maintenance (3/4 ton+ truck preferred)
  • Equipment – Rail gear (installation, service, inspections), common truck parts
  • DOT Inspections, ANSI Crane Inspections & Annual FRA Railroad Inspections
  • Product Assembly – Follow work instructions
  • Machine Operation – Forklift
  • Hydraulics – Power units, assembly, valves, rams, etc.
  • Welding – MIG (mild steel), TIG a plus (stainless/aluminum)

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble Machines
  • Vehicle/Equipment Repair & Maintenance
  • Perform Product Testing
  • Weld as Needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
