Overview
· Weld/Fabricate Floor scales/Truck scales and modification to existing products as per engineering documents and established production standards
· Measuring, Welding/Grinding/Cutting of Sheet Metals/Channel/I-Beam/Angle Iron
· Operate other necessary equipment and perform tasks necessary to complete parts/assemblies to design specifications
· Prepare and setup of necessary tools and equipment for welding/fabrication jobs
· Propose potential quality or productivity enhancements or continuous improvements
· Review of finished assemblies & parts to ensure accuracy against drawings and quality of work.
Requirements:
· Experienced Floor Scale/Truck Scale Welder/Fabricator
· Ability to read blueprints/design drawings
· Ability to competently use various hand welding equipment for Mild Steel and Stainless-Steel Assemblies.
· Ability to competently use hand plasma cutting tools.
· Ability to safely lift and move metal pieces (Heavier items with Forklift)
· Forklift Driving
· Ability to safely use company tools (Drill Press, Hand Drill, Grinder, Cut off tools, Metal Saw)
· Ability to multitask and complete tasks in tight deadlines
· Attention to detail, accuracy
· Can maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
