Overview
Welder / Fabricator & Production Technician
This position is responsible for the fabrication or repair and maintenance of metal molds and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Construct metal molds from blueprints and drawings for the production of precast pieces
· Weld equipment in our plant, as needed, and fabricate new equipment
· Cleaning and maintaining molds
· Assist maintenance technician with welding repairs throughout the plant
· Supporting precast piece detail changes to meet daily production schedule
· Maintain an attitude of safety awareness
· Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse work environment with all levels of employees

· Other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Minimum of 2 years of welding experience in (GMAW) Process
· General fabricating experience, including the ability to use and operate various hand, power, and measurement tools
· The ability to read blueprints and drawings
· Experience in Oxy-Fuel cutting and (SMAW) processes preferred
· Basic math and measurement skills
· Prior concrete and/or construction experience preferred
· Flexibility to work in production roles as determined by Production Supervisor and business needs
Production Technician
· Participate in a one-piece-flow assembly line operation to produce products requiring attention to detail and focus
· Assemble bolts, clips, screws, cement, and other fasten-able parts together by hand or with hand tools
· Learn about plant operations including the flow of raw materials into the finished product
· Clean and finish assembly equipment using approved cleaners and tools according to SOP book and ability to reference MSDS to ensure safe handling and proper PPE is used
· Assist as needed performing maintenance, in production, shipping, as well as a willingness to act as a relief worker for various departments
Physical Demands & Environmental / Working Conditions:
· Walking / Standing: Constantly
· Pushing / Pulling: Frequently up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 75 lbs.
· Bending / Twisting / Kneeling: Frequently
· Use of hands: Constantly. Constantly uses repetitive motions
· Working Environment: Frequently works outside in sunlight and/or inclement weather
· Other: Constantly working around equipment (i.e. forklifts)

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
