THIS JOB REQUIRES ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY
As a part of a team of soldiers, you secure your future with a career in the Active Duty Army (full-time), additional allowance for college, guaranteed healthcare with family benefits. You gain leadership skills, college credit, and job-security. This is an entry level position with no experience necessary. This job is primarily responsible for supervising and performing the fabrication, repair and modification of metallic and nonmetallic parts. They operate lathes, drill presses, grinders and other machine shop equipment.
Job Duties:
- Fabricate, repair, and modify metallic and nonmetallic parts
- Utilize machines such as engine lathes, utility grinders, power cutoff saws, hydraulic presses, drill presses, oxyacetylene, electric arc, inert gas welding machines and their associated attachments, accessories and tools
- Full-time pay while in training (Basic Training and Job Training)
Basic Qualifications:
- Age – 17 to 34 years old
- Education – Current Senior in High School(HS), HS Diploma, GED or higher
- Citizenship – U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident
- Submit to background and medical screening
