Custom metal fabrication shop looking for a Metal Fabricator with some previous experience. 40+ hours per week to start. Competitive wage and benefits package with room to grow, based on experience and performance.

Fabrication experience in related work

Education Requirements:

High School/GED Required

Technical Certification Preferred

Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus

Job Requirements:

· MUST HAVE a broad range of fabrication skills, fabrication experience in related work.

· MUST BE experienced in MIG and TIG welding on stainless, aluminum, and steel and be able to successfully pass a welder qualification test.

· MUST BE able to read prints.

· MUST HAVE experience fitting.

· MUST HAVE the ability to read and operate tape measure and calipers and have basic math and comprehension skills.

· MUST HAVE a keen attention to detail

· MUST HAVE the ability to lift at least 50lbs

· MUST HAVE the ability to problem solve on your own.

· MUST BE willing to work overtime when necessary.

· MUST HAVE a solid work ethic and pride in workmanship.

Job Responsibilities

· Adhere to all company standards for quality of product.

· Adhere to all company safety protocols and always wear proper personal protective gear and uniforms.

· Set up, operate, and maintain your provided welding equipment.

· Weld components using welding equipment in various positions.

· Fabricate and assemble metal structures using provided equipment, according to customer or employer specifications.

· Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to determine operations, required materials, and timeframes for projects.

· Log all job time in project management software.

· Set up and operate Iron Worker. (when needed)

· Set up and operate vertical and horizontal Band Saw. (when needed)

· Set up and operate Corner Notcher. (when needed)

· Set up and operate Drill Press. (when needed)

· Set up and operate Greenlee Punch. (when needed)

· Set up and operate Plasma Machine. (when needed)

Work Remotely

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour
