Overview
Vacutrux is an environmental truck builder located in Elmira Ontario. We are industry leaders in vacuum tank fabrication and design. We are looking for fabricators to join our production team and help with our mission. Duties include:
- Prep, layout, fit and weld shell sections, heads and baffles for the vacuum tanks including tank supports
- Both inside seam welding and outside seam welding required
- Layout, fit and weld components, parts and truck body sub-assemblies in a custom production environment
- Set up and operate metal working machines, saw, hand tools and measuring, drills, use of levels, squares, grinders
- Use of overhead cranes hoist and set up materials on shop floor
- Shear and brake experience viewed as an asset
- Mig welding, mild steel
- Aluminum welding and TIG experience viewed as an asset
