Job description
The ideal applicant will have some welding and fabrication experience working in a custom welding shop and well versed in railings and ornamentals. Must show satisfactory welding skills in MIG and SMAW. Willing to work toward becoming CWB certified.
Preference will be given to someone with 3 years experience in the manufacturing of custom stairs and railings.
We seek a motivated welder/fabricator to assist within a custom welding shop. You will never be bored as we tackle a wide variety of jobs and you will always be challenged to grow and develop your skills due to the diversity of our tasks to perform.
Ability to operate all weld related equipment and to follow verbal and written instructions.
We perform repairs or builds from ferrous and non ferrous metals.
Aluminum welding ability a huge asset.
Ability to work independently and adapt to an ever changing pace.
Most work is in shop with some mobile services provided.
Transportation is required.
This job location is 10 minutes south of Parry Sound by HWY 141.
The pay rate is dependent on experience and ability and We offer a competitive wage with an included benefit package for enhanced health care package as well as dental, vision coverage. Safety PPE’s coverage included.
