Overview

Dubose National Energy is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for their Clinton, North Carolina location.

Candidate must have relevant welding/fabrication experience to be considered.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

-Fit and weld assemblies per job instructions and drawings.
-Perform code (ASME & AWS) compliant welds using GMAW, GMAW-P & FCAW processes.
-Perform joint preparation per drawings & code specifications.
-Properly use fabrication shop hand tools. (grinders, drills, air tools etc.)
-Operate Forklifts & Overhead Cranes.
-Operate Vertical/Horizontal Band Saws.
-Rig, hoist/lift & move materials.
-Maintain safe and clean work environment.
-Operate Positioners

Requirements:

-Must be able to prep, set up, fit, and weld GMAW 2G weld test & GMAW-P, FCAW 3G weld test
-Positive “can do” attitude & strong work ethic
-Ability to take detailed instruction
-Willing to be challenged to improve welding skills to meet high quality standards.
-Must be able to read & understand weld symbols, weld procedures, mechanical and structural drawings.
-Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safe work practices.
-Must be able to use Oxy/fuel & Plasma hand cutting torch.
-Daily housekeeping of shop.
-Flexible working schedule to support project needs

Considered a Plus:

-SAW experience using a Manipulator
-ASME pipe welding experience
-Fit-up & layout experience on structural/misc. steel and pipe spools
-GTAW welding in 6G position
-Experience with machine equipment such as, mill or drill press.
-Familiarity with weld inspections and examinations
-Working knowledge of shop travelers (work instructions) for nuclear (ASME III & Safety Related) fabrications
-Knowledge of Stair and Handrail fabrication
-Bi-lingual in Spanish and English
