Overview
We are looking for a full time welder/fitter who is a self-starter and has the experience and ability to run the welding department of a rapidly growing company.
We are the manufacturer of lightweight towable fiberglass campers. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating the jigs and fixtures to manufacture the welded frame required for various camper models.
This is a hands on welding job which will require the handling and preparation of all of the materials required for welding the frames and the welding tasks to put the frames together with the requisite components including axles.
You must be able to think for yourself, be creative and versatile and enjoy working as part of a team. Above all, your work must be precise and of the highest quality.
Additional responsibilities will include the manufacture of carts, frames, fixtures and other welded structures as required for the manufacture of all fiberglass products and campers parts and assemblies.
From time to time you may be asked to help out in other departments as the need arises, but the primary responsibility will be fitting and welding.
The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Lead.
You must have excellent references and be a self starter. The company is growing rapidly and there will be ample opportunity for advancement into leadership and management roles in the first twenty four months.
A candidate with many years experience is preferred, but we will consider a less experienced candidate that can provide solid references or otherwise demonstrate their abilities for the job.
