Fitter Welder

Qualifications

  • Must have current CWB Certifications
  • Other current certifications are an asset
  • Proven fitting and fabrication experience required
  • Steel welding experience required
  • Aluminum Welding Experience preferred
  • Ability to work from shop drawings required
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Team player and safety oriented
  • Valid safety certificates such as: Fall Arrest, WHMIS, First-Aid, Crane Operator Certificate, Forklift Operator Certificate, recommended
  • Valid driver’s license & own vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Read and follow complicated designs and shop drawings.
  • Weld, fit, cut, grind and finish steel and aluminum
  • Work autonomously and sometimes without direct supervision.
