Tasks:
– Perform fitting/welding duties using a wire in flat, vertical and overhead positions.
– Fit/weld aluminum components with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.
– Inspect and correct fits/welds as necessary to meet product specifications.
– Operate hoist, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the job needs.
– Operate equipment safely and demonstrate safe work habits.
– Detect faulty operation or defective materials and notify foreman.
– Any other related tasks.
