Job Description

The Position Bell-Camp Manufacturing is looking for skilled FITTER / TIG Welders and Welder-Fitters who will can Fit, Fabricate, and weld by MIG or TIG finish products to meet our QA standards and customer specifications. The positions we have available are for days and may need the successful candidate to be on afternoons as well. The candidate will need to be able to work 44 hrs per week min. We would like to fill 2 to 3 positions.

The Job

  • You will ensure all parts comply with the blueprint specifications and quality standards. Parts that are out of specification or damaged are to be segregated and quality assurance notified for disposition.
  • You will Weld, Fit and Finish all assigned orders with accuracy.
  • You will perform tacking duties as required.
  • You will work independently and or as a team member
  • You will work from complex drawings; perform all layouts, fitting and assembly of intricate fabrications and parts

. * You will ensure all parts are prefabricated correctly to meet customer specifications and fit as required keeping in mind consumables and tolerances.

  • You will work in a safe manner by following all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, Company Policies and Procedures.
  • You will initiate and continually strive for maximum production efficiency and attention to detail.
  • You will perform layout and fit-up checks.
  • You will document and complete ITP reports
  • You will maintain a clean and organized working area.
  • Upon completion of assigned work, you will ensure adequate clean up and inspection of all weldments and fabricated parts as required.
  • You will complete final fit/polish of product.
  • You have a minimum of a grade twelve education or equivalent.
  • You have strong Math Skills and are able to apply measuring and test equipment required for the job.
  • You have the ability to operate torch cutting, grinding equipment, and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • You have the ability to pass a in house weld test (GMAW). Preference may be given to those with GTAW and SMAW experience.
  • You have excellent communication skills verbal, and written.
  • You have the ability to read understand, and interrupt blueprints, schematic designs, and application and weld symbols.
  • You have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and take pride in your work.
