Overview
Responsibilities:
Layout, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural frames and machinery using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements. Read, analyze and interpret mechanical drawings. Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the trade.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a fitter in a similar industry / product
- Ability to work to close tolerances
- Strong math skills
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Positive attitude and able to work in teams
- Able to work after hours and weekends when required
