Welder – Forklift certified

We are an established company specializing in industrial/commercial construction, with projects throughout the United States. We are seeking a welder responsible for fitting and weld steel, aluminum and stainless-steel parts. Also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by his supervisor. MUST BE FORKLIFT CERTIFIED.

Duties, and responsibilities of the position:
Measure and mark work pieces using straightedges, rules, and calipers

Cut and smoothen metal components using plasma cutters, portable grinders, lathe, and milling machines

Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings in order to lay out a welding project

Operate forklifts/cranes and use them in conveying work materials to welding site

Collaborate with project managers and welding supervisors to ensure smooth work operations

Maintain welding safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a risk-free work environment

Weld materials in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions

Requirements:
Experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel required

Ability to identify and measure material

Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form

Forklift certified.

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Additional Payment: $80/ Perdiem if your commute to work is more than 30 Miles one way
