Overview
Work will start in the Spring 2023.
Summary of Position:
The welder will fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand
Safety training as required by position
Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed
Sets current, gas pressures, and regulates pressure controls
Selects rod, wire, tips, and electrodes for specific operation to be performed
Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions
Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition
Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed
Other duties as assigned
Essential Education and Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years welding experience
Good verbal communication skills
Valid Driver’s License
Valid DOT Health Card
Preferred Skills:
Ability to read prints
Welding degree
OSHA 10
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
