Enertec Engineering is an industry leader in mechanical engineering for Greenhouses, Indoor Growers, and hydronic heating systems. Enertec is looking for a motivated and mechanically inclined individual with Welding experience to join our Mechanical installation division. The successful candidate will work alongside a team to assist with all welding tasks. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be a hard worker, professional, punctual, as well as creative and customer focused.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Review work orders and welding procedure specifications
  • Set up, layout and produce components and finished parts using a wide variety of tools and machinery
  • Weld assemblies within provided Weld Specifications
  • Inspect all welds to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Complete appropriate quality and production documentation
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects (safety, productivity, or quality)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work together with and/or lead an installation team

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Minimum 2 years’ welding experience in a Greenhouse environment.
  • Completion of secondary school
  • Additional training and certifications an asset (industry courses, AWS, ASME, CWB etc.)
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Time management skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining Safety and Quality standards.
  • Ability to wear a mask when welding certain materials

Salary: Commensurate with Experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $15.88-$27.86 per hour
