Overview
Reporting to the Fabrication Shop Foreman, you will
- Operate and set up various welding equipment
- Operating equipment according to established procedures
- Able to troubleshoot minor problems with fixtures or tooling
- Check own parts against blue print drawings in various stages of production
- Identify irregularities in parts and non conformance to quality standards
- Read and interpret drawings or welding process specifications
- Perform welding processes using established Canadian Welding Bureau/TSSA or customer procedures
Requirements:
- Secondary School Diploma or Equivalent is an asset
- Canadian Welding Bureau Certified to GTAW (Aluminum & Stainless)
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Prior work experience using a brake press
- Must have good time management, problem-solving skills, initiative and a commitment to tasks
- Basic mathematical skills and the ability to communicate clearly
- Interpret blue print drawings and accurately read various measuring tools

- Prior experience working to quality standards and inspection
- Comprehension of weld symbols
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
