Overview
Welder helper/labourer will be required to assist Journeyman and apprentice welders with fabrication procedures, and to do general labour duties as required. This includes the operation of metal cutting saws, drills, grinders and the lifting and carrying of materials required for fabrication and welding
The ability to use and understand basic measuring tools would be an asset.
The successful candidate will be required to prepare projects for the application of industrial spray coatings, and will be trained to apply said coatings.
A valid H2S and First Aid ticket will be required, or have proof of intention to obtain such training within 30 days of starting employment.
The opportunity to be enrolled in a welding apprenticeship may be offered to the suitable qualified and motivated person in the near future
