Overview
The primary responsibilities of this position include all types of welding fabrication and repairs, disassembly and assembly of all types of equipment, and some light machine work.
Requirements include:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Certificate from a technical school preferred
- Prior work or military experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirements
- Certified welder with experience in arc welding, metal inert gas welding, arc gouging, and use of oxyacetylene torch
- Experience reading blueprints, understand bend allowances and follow fabrication procedures
- Must be available to work overtime as needed
- Experience quoting jobs preferred
