Hub Industrial Supply/an MSS company a company with an uncompromised commitment to serve our customers. We provide general industrial supplies, from fasteners, abrasives, saw blades, and cutting tools to aerosols, gloves, and safety supplies. Our primary customers are manufacturers and maintenance departments across the United States.
As a Welder at Hub Industrial Supply, you will perform a variety of duties to customize or cutting tool components to customer specifications at our in-house facility. You will work both individually and as part of a team and will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and bottom line results!
Weld different types of cutting tools and saw blades to customer specifications.
Receive and verify incoming parts, materials, and supplies; maintain stock area, prepare sales orders.
Pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies.
Perform duties to fabricate, and repair our cutting tool lines from raw material.
Work in a manner that ensures the safety of everyone involved. Exercise proper care in the use of tools and equipment.
Detect and report defective equipment, material and any improper operations or unusual conditions.
Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations; maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
REQUIREMENTS:
Organization and prioritization skills; attention to detail.
Welding background.
Strong communication skills written and verbal including use of proper English and grammar.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as ability to work at heights and tight spaces.
Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems.
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Maintenance experience preferred.
