Overview
We are looking for an Installer /Welder who has experience using ARC/Stick welding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding compactors and the installation of compactors/balers. This role consist of traveling to customer sites to perform installation and weld jobs.
Location: Port Coquitlum, BC
Salary range: $26.00-$32.00/hour
Skills & Qualifications required:
. MIG welding, repair waste and recycling equipment
. Responsible for shop repairs (welding/hydraulic)
. Travel to customer sites to perform installation and remove machinery (compactors)
. ARC/Stick welding required
. Torch cutting experience required
. Comfortable using power tools, screw drivers, grinders, drills, shear
. Forklift license an asset
. Transport equipment from company site to shop (loading and unloading)
. Additional tasks as required
. Previous experience performing installation and/or welding
. Exposure to Stick/ARC welding practices
. Class 5 Drivers licence required / clean driving abstract
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $26.00-$34.00 per hour
