D&D Welding & Fabrication, LLC is a family owned structural steel fabrication company founded in 1985. We are based in Fort Lauderdale & Fort Pierce. We have an excellent opportunity for experienced Welder/ Iron Workers to join our team at our Fort Lauderdale location. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in the construction industry, excellent communication skills, detail-oriented and highly motivated and must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen. At D&D Welding we offer a benefits package for our full-time employees, including a Simple IRA with company match, health, dental, & vision insurance along with paid time off.
MUST be able to install structural steel, joist, bridging and metal deck. Must be able to take verbal instructions and be a self-starter. Experience needed. Welding certification is a plus but not necessary. Long term position.
Candidate must possess the following qualities:
· Be able to pass drug screening
· Must have valid employment documentation
· Reliable transportation
· Clean and current driver’s license (insurance purposes)
· Must be able to travel to job sites in Dade, Broward & West Palm Beach areas
· Be able to work 7:00am- 3:30pm Mon- Fri. (occasionally Saturday & Sundays)
· Punctual
