Overview of the Position:

Dynamic Attractions is hiring fluxcore welders for at our steel fabrication facility in Port Coquitlam. We are looking for qualified ticketed journeymen welders. The ticketed journeyman welder operates equipment that welds ferrous and non-ferrous metals for our complex fabricated amusement ride systems.

This position will be a member of the Ironworkers Shop Local 712 union.

Responsibilities:

· Use appropriate welding equipment to weld fabricated metal products in an efficient manner to maximize production;

· Produce strong penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous, and consistent;

· Read an interpreting drawings, welding processes and welding specifications;

· Weld to customer and internal/external quality specifications and standards;

Skills & Requirements:

· Ticketed Journeyman Welder with minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience;

· Red Seal Welder certificate preferred;

· CWB certificate required;

· Proven ability to produce a high-quality product within deadlines, while following strict safety requirements;

· Clean safety record;

· Ability to work at heights using the appropriate fall protection and safety procedures;

· First Aid certification is an asset;

· Ability to work assigned shifts as required.
