We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team in Utopia, ON. The Welder is responsible for service & repair welding, prototype building, and fitter welding. This position also requires the fabrication of custom prototypes from supplied drawings, fabrication of custom jigs and fixtures to produce production parts that meet customer specifications, as well as the fabrication of metal mold structures in a high paced concrete manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings

· Work effectively on a team as well as on an individual basis while maintaining tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· Maintenance of equipment in a condition that follows proper LOTO procedures in accordance with our Health and Safety Policy/Procedure and the OHSA

· Clean, set up & Fabricate New Production Forms

· Install Vibrators on Forms

· Assist with mechanical repairs & welding repairs production forms

Skills, Education & Experience

· Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints with strong attention to detail

· CWB Ticket required

· 2 years minimum experience

· Skilled in the use of MIG, Stick, all positions

· Able to use wide variety of hand tools and equipment

· Excellent communication and organizational skills
