Overview
Tomlinson’s aggregates division is looking for an individual to fill a Welder/Maintenance Worker position within our Bruce Mines Quarry.
DUTIES AND REPSONSIBILITIES
- Grinding and welding
- Cutting – torch and plasma
- Welding – MIG and stick welding
- Daily inspections and maintenance of the plant
- Physically demanding, involves labour work and lifting various objects
- Ability to operate various types of equipment, loader, skid steer, and man lift
- Ability to work at heights
- Must be able to work alone and be a self-motivator
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 or more years of experience in welding/ fabrication
- Knowledge of mechanics is an asset
- Be available to work occasional Saturdays and evenings
- Be willing to work outdoors at all times
