Job brief
We are looking for an experienced Welder Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing of custom ASME Code Div. 1 pressure vessels. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader.
The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
- Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
- Ensure output meets quality standards
- Enforce health and safety precautions
- Report to upper management
Requirements
- ASME Code Qualification & Welding Procedures w/ Documentation
- Understand the process of welding (Gas-Tungsten, Dual Shield, Flux-core)
- General metal work for plate (+3/16″), pipe, & fittings
- Previous experience with Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel production
- Knowledge of cryogenics not required
- Previous experience with high Nickel, Copper, or Titanium is a plus
- Work with Quality Control to document Material Test Reports
- Deep knowledge of production management
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Attention to detail
