Job brief

We are looking for an experienced Welder Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing of custom ASME Code Div. 1 pressure vessels. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader.

The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
  • Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
  • Ensure output meets quality standards
  • Enforce health and safety precautions
  • Report to upper management

Requirements

  • ASME Code Qualification & Welding Procedures w/ Documentation
  • Understand the process of welding (Gas-Tungsten, Dual Shield, Flux-core)
  • General metal work for plate (+3/16″), pipe, & fittings
  • Previous experience with Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel production
  • Knowledge of cryogenics not required
  • Previous experience with high Nickel, Copper, or Titanium is a plus
  • Work with Quality Control to document Material Test Reports
  • Deep knowledge of production management
  • Outstanding communication ability
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
  • Attention to detail
