Overview
Welder manufacturer (Ottawa, Ontario)
QUALIFICATIONS:
A licensed welder with good fabricating skills. Greater than three years of welding and fabricating experience. Previous experience with hydraulic equipment, lathes, mills, grinders, heat treating. Full understanding and knowledge of welding tools. Must be able to determine the amounts of parts, labor and materials needed to make hydraulic repairs. Possess strong communication skills to take direction on job assignments. Interact with co-workers, including mechanics, welders and machinists, to exchange tips about methods and procedures, to relay new information and safety precautions. Possess problem solving skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to learn new specifications and procedures through on-the-job training and experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluate, repair and test performance levels of hydraulic equipment. Responsible for solving problems requiring more extensive knowledge and experience. May assist with training other production technicians. Focus on continual improvement and cost reduction.
Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week + Overtime
Wage: $15 to $20.00/hour
