Overview

Curb Signs Inc. specializes in custom fabricated signs as well as installation and maintenance services.

We are looking for a team player with a strong attention to details and a positive attitude to join our team as a Sign Maker!

To be successful in this role, you should have knowledge and experience using a variety of building materials (i.e. aluminum, acrylic, PVC, wood, etc.), woodworking, welding (both metals & plastics), and/or vinyl application.

Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

*Job Duties: *

  • Interpret drawings provided, including all measurements
  • Operate Laser Cutter and CNC Machines to cut materials
  • Use tools/equipment (metal brake, shear, saws, drills, sanders, grinders, welders, etc.) to assemble frames and signage
  • Prepare and paint projects
  • Weld signs and related structural components
  • Placing and wiring lighting components for LED
  • Inspect signage and advise supervisor immediately of any issues
  • Troubleshoot and find solutions for any issues to ensure projects are completed
  • * Maintain and organize machinery, equipment/tools, and materials

*Job Qualifications / Requirements: *

Candidates with strong fabrication skills from another industry will also be considered.

  • Must have experience with hand tools
  • Must have working understanding of various building materials in order to fabricate products
  • Must have strong attention to detail to ensure that
  • Able to lift heavy objects (50+lbs.)
  • Able to be flexible and able to work overtime
  • Knowledge of design software (i.e. Illustrator, Corel Draw, Aspire, Fusion 360) (an asset)
  • Basic knowledge of electrical work (an asset)
  • Counterbalance Forklift license (an asset)
