At Livewire Fabrication, we aren’t just in the steel game to make a quick buck. We are in it because we love it, we are passionate about it, and because of this our work shows it.
We are a diverse group of welders and Fabricators who come from just as diverse backgrounds. Our common ground is the pursuit of perfection in all that we build. It’s something we aim carefully and thoughtfully at, so that the end result is what the clients paid for.
We work all around the Austin area and our shop is based in Wimberley. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to both. in/around Austin for job sites and to Wimberley for shop work.
We are looking for not just welders but individuals with the following abilities:
Required:
-read prints (structural and architectural)
-read detailed drawings
-versed in welding of all types
-table and field fabrication
-maintain workflow and operate with little supervision
-transportation
-willingness to work overtime
-willingness to travel from time to time
Preferred:
-steel erection
-heavy equipment operation
-team player
-CNC / CAD knowledge
We do not tolerate people who aren’t motivated to help the project reach its objective. 90 day trial to start, paid major holidays. Other information provided at time of interview. Our shop is located in Wimberley, TX and we work in and around Austin Tx.
