Welder (Mig, Tig, Arc, and Robotics)

Class 8 – 25.89 per hour Union Position

Morning Shift – 7:30 am to 4 pm

Afternoon Shift -3:30 pm to 12:00 am

Who we are looking for:

Sasco, a division of Atkore, is currently searching for a Welder to be based out of Toronto. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the ideal candidate will have 3+ years relevant Welding and Manufacturing experience. Experience in lean manufacturing is a plus.

The Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to produce excellent welds in both quality and quantity.
  • Perform all production welding requirements.
  • Able to do Arc, MIG, TIG, welds.
  • Able to operate Robotic cells, such as Miller, Panasonic Cells.
  • Ability to operate welding machine with minimal assistance and supervision.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of Welder experience is required.
  • Three (3) years of manufacturing and fabrication experience is required.
  • Ability to work with robotics program with Panasonic Cell is preferred.
  • Three years of manufacturing and fabrication experience is required.

· Eager and interest to learn continuously in manufacturing environment.

· Ability to stand on their feet for the duration of the workday.

· Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative.

· Strong oral and written communication skills in the English language.

· Ability to work both as a member of a team, a team leader or as an individual contributor.

· Able to adhere to Atkore/ Sasco Health & safety, and other policies and procedures.
