Overview

Located in Winchester, Ontario, Mercier Mill Services is looking for a millwrights, you will diagnose & repair mill equipment (conveyors and Bucket elevators), fabricate, weld.

Responsible for maintaining, repairing or replacing machinery, equipment and facilities in the Eastern Ontario Area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned

  • Arc welding
  • Dismantle, install, fabricate and repair machines and equipment
  • Rig and position industrial agricultural equipment
  • Shop fabrication and at various job sites
  • Ability to work with a variety of tools; welders and cutting torch, plasma cutter, chain blocks, grinders

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Millwright experience required

  • Knowledge of transition fabrication.
  • Must have SMAW welding experience
  • Must have fabricating experience – fitting
  • Must be able to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to lift 50 pounds and perform outdoor work.
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Must be able to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Able to work in a safe & efficient manner according to safety policies.
  • Resident of Ontario

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Fitting: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Millwright: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
