Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated self-starter and experienced welder/fabricator to join our company. You must be able to follow blueprints, determine material measurements, and take responsibility for welding and fabricating parts to a high standard.

Responsibilities:
Weld critical components of our heavy equipment on or around job sites.

Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products

Must have excellent knowledge of measuring, leveling, and handheld tools such as tape measures, squares, various grinders, saws, drills, etc.

Keeps the Managers informed of significant developments impacting welding/fabricating operations

Fabricating and constructing metal components

Grinding and finishing completed products

Measuring and layouts

Work with employees and other departments within the organization to achieve high efficiency of the company

Must have excellent housekeeping skills and maintain a trash/clutter-free workstation

Other tasks as assigned or requested by the department manager/supervisor

Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Must have previous experience as a welder

Must have previous experience as a fabricator

Must be proficient with metal fabrication tools

Must have experience with cutting and Gouging

Must be able to read blueprints, welding specs, work orders, and any reports

A self-starter and able to complete tasks with a minimum of guidance

Must be detail-oriented, organized, and ability to multi-task

Interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written

Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to lift and manipulate large objects using an overhead crane

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and adverse outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demand

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly/frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and infrequently/occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.

7 days a week 12 hours
