We are a leading fabricator of structural steel and overhead cranes located south of Edmonton in the Nisku Industrial Park, Alberta. The Position –

An opportunity currently exists for a Journeyman Welder to join our Overhead Crane Installation crew (an Apprentice will also be considered). We offer a competitive hourly rate plus overtime and benefits. The position is based in Nisku, but travel & out of town work will be required around Alberta.

The Ideal Candidate –

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and qualities:

  • CWB certified in SMAW (other CWB tickets considered an asset)
  • Must be comfortable working at a heights
  • Ability to work out of town for prolonged periods of time
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Availability to work overtime hours
  • A diligent worker who can operate within a team or autonomously as required
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract
  • The ability to work in a safety sensitive role at all times
  • Pass a Pre-screen drug & alcohol test

Salary: $34.43-$36.63 per year
