REAL Mechanical, headquartered in Carmel, IN, is a mechanical, plumbing, building automation systems and service contractor providing comprehensive design and build solutions for its customers in Indiana and throughout the United States.

Real Mechanical was founded in June 1978 and has grown into one of the most well qualified and respected ABC “Merit Shop” mechanical contractors in the metropolitan Indianapolis area. Our management and supervision team has vast years of construction and design experience in the Mechanical Contracting Industry.

Needed ASAP!! Certified Welder/Pipefitters

Responsible for fitting, fabricating, and assembling the structural and pipe components that make up mechanical and piping systems. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS a 6G position GTAW/SMAW pipe weld test to be radiograph inspected.

  • Should be comfortable working with 2” up to 6” pipe
  • Must be capable of welding stainless and carbon
  • Must be combo welder / pipefitter that is capable and willing do welding and fitting
  • Assemble and install mechanical systems
  • Assemble and install HVAC refrigeration copper line sets.
  • Assemble and install pipe hangers
  • Ability to Braze

Minimal Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a certified welder (MiG, Tig, Stick) and pipefitter in mechanical setting
  • Experienced in fitment for carbon steel weld pipe, threaded pipe systems, grooved pipe systems, and copper pipe soldering and brazing.
  • Clean Driver’s License
  • Pass a Background/Drug Screen
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
