Position Summary:
Welder/ Fitter
Job Details
Assemble products per drawings, tack weld (fit) and welds fabricated components.
Bolts, rivet, clamp, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
Able to trouble shoot drawings and equipment. Able to dismantle and repair products by straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts using the necessary tools
Job Requirements
Must be able to pass welding test
Technical: Must be able to read plans and work instructions
Problem Solving Skills: Must be able to troubleshoot machine and restore to peak
performance: Need to know how to increase output and how to fix errors
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail is required
Stamina: Must be able to work extra hours to get the job done
Safety: Must be aware of surrounding and safety
Preferences:
Knowledge of press-brake is plus
Knowledge of grinding and finishing stainless steel
Knowledge of plasma CNC is a plus
