Full Job Description

Welding, fabricating, assembling and grinding parts as outlined in drawings using various welding, cutting and metal working tools and equipment. Safely and effectively operate all machinery in order to accomplish assigned tasks in a timely manner.

The equipment that we build and repair is for the waste handling industry.

Requirements:
Good Welding Skills required: GMAW (mig) ARC (stick) on steel.

Must be prepared to take a welding test with all appropriate safety gear at face to face interview.

Some knowledge of electrical and hydraulic components is helpful. ( We will train you in this area)

Qualifications:
High school or equivalent (Required).

Must have a clean driving record.

US work authorization (Required).

MIG welding: 2 years (Preferred).

ARC welding: 2 years (Preferred).

Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred).

Fabrication: 2 years (Preferred).

Forklift operation: 2 years (Preferred).

Repair of electrical components: Some Knowledge (Preferred).

Repair of hydraulic components: Some Knowledge (Preferred).

Skills/Qualifications:
We will perform Welder and Ruler tests before making an offer.

Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a Welding environment.

Proven experience in Steel Fabrication.

High attention to detail.

Ability to read and fabricate from manufacturing prints.

Capable of handling heavy equipment.
