Overview

Position: Welder (salary ranges from $23.88 – $29.82)

Reports to: Production Supervision

  • Weld hydraulic cylinder tube, rods, and components using manual and automated welding processes
  • Achieve and maintain required productivity levels (efficiency & utilization)
  • Produce required quality and quantity of work
  • Contribute daily to continuous improvement
  • Adhere to all Safety and Health standards
  • Welding certificate from a recognized post-secondary or trade school
  • CWB Certification, or ability to become certified
  • Minimum of 1-year experience on MIG (Gas Metal Arc, Flux Core Arc, Shielded Metal Arc)
  • Additional welding experience considered an asset
  • Hydraulic component welding background preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic and challenging environment by effectively organizing, prioritizing, and executing tasks
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
