Welder – (Rocanville, Saskatchewan, Canada)

Reporting to Mill Mechanical Supervisor

This position is located in Rocanville, Saskatchewan, Canada and not available for remote work.

What you will do:
Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task and ensure the safety of fellow employees

Diagnose, maintain and repair of all mill equipment

Weld/fabricate

Perform shutdown mechanical work

What you will bring:
Possess a valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Journeyperson Welder Certificate

Able to obtain Pressure Ticket and CWB certification within maximum time frames

Positive Safety behavior and safety leadership

Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as independently

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors

Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training

Ability to make and implement decisions under all conditions

Stable work record with 3 to 5 years’ experience, preferably in an industrial environment is an asset
