We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team at Stinson Equipment.

Stinson is a full-service, traffic management and traffic safety company with three locations (Concord, Woodbridge, Gormley) in Ontario and has long been considered by those in the industry to be Ontario’s leader for traffic safety products and services. Over the past 60 years we have been proudly providing quality traffic management solutions to Ontario’s municipalities, construction, industrial, private, and public sectors.

A great team!

You have:
Welding license (MIG/TIG)

Able to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings

Strong attention to detail

Highly organized

Good communication skills

Able to withstand long hours of welding

Fluent English (verbal and written)

As a Welder you will:
Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings to lay out a welding project

Carry out welding according to set dimensions to meet general test requirements

Perform welding operations in accordance with set specifications and configuration

Weld materials in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions

Bore holes through metal workpieces using drill press

Measure and mark work pieces using straightedges, rulers, and calipers

Cut and smooth metal components using portable grinders

Able to operate various welding implements to achieve high quality welds

Organize and clean welding equipment and workspace on a regular basis

Maintain welding safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a risk-free work environment

Keep up to date with the latest welding methods and technologies

Other duties as required to support the needs of our customers and the business

Able to work well in a team environment
