They support the completion natural gas asset installations and maintenance repairs on all diameter pipes within the region they support and across the organization so that we can deliver safe and reliable natural gas without disruption to our most important customers – you!

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
Work alongside multiple TFS team crew members, providing safe and efficient end to end execution of operations and construction work types including but not limited to natural gas pipeline and station installations, energizations, abandonments, repairs and maintenance.
Perform welding activities on in-service pipelines for the purpose of installing and maintaining existing and future natural gas pipelines and station assets.
Fabricate various asset installations according to the design drawings.
Complete damage and other maintenance repair and installation activities as required.
Fabricate meter and station protection and other welding fabrication activities that support the business.
Support emergency response activities
Support newly onboarded welders as a mentor
Support the CAP evaluation processes associated with welding competencies.
Interact with internal and external customers by maintaining a positive and professional manner that enhances/maintains our Enbridge Gas image.
Emergency response and out of town travel will be a key requirement within the role. .
When not specifically completing or supporting welding activity, the employee will be called upon and required to perform activities that commensurate with their skills to support the end to end installation crew and region.
Who you are (Qualifications):
A minimum grade 12 education or equivalent.
Must have two years of recent full time welding experience or equivalent and a demonstrated competence in welding as evaluated by the Company’s Senior Welding Technician.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and DZ preferred.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be willing to and able to train on company equipment as required.
Must be able to read and interpret design drawings and sketches
Must be able to operate a personal computer and related company software.
Must be physically capable to perform manual labour when required and be capable of wearing all appropriate safety/protective equipment
Must be able to meet the company onboarding and government license requirements for welding
Must be able to obtain GPI training and ticket.
Must be able to work extended hours with some limited out of town travel required
Other related construction experience welcomed
