NES Fircroft is looking for welders in Jupiter, FL!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Set-up and installation of welding equipment
· Execution of welding on gas turbine components as per the required technical specification
· Quality check of the performed work before operation step confirmation
· Preparation/confirmation of the required quality documentation
· Reporting of used production time per production step
· Setting up welding parameters, selects consumable materials, and prepares work piece for new welding process trials together with engineering staff
· Designs and fabricates welding fixtures, chill blocks, and purge boxes as required
· Reporting of technical deviations with the Non-Conformance Reporting System (NCR)
· Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment and tools
· Keeping the working environment and machines in a clean and proper condition
· Following Environmental Health and Safety regulations
· Continually improving operations and the working environment
· Support the training and development of subordinate employees.
· Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Training
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
· Certified in welding (TIG & MIG)
· Complete specific on-the-job training towards meeting essential duties and work area performance criteria.
